I had a fantastic time exploring nearby Moss Rock Preserve and walking through Ross Bridge Historical Park, both offering serene views and perfect walking paths for my city-strolling escapades.

This hotel was a well-suited match for a city trip in Hoover with fantastic value. The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony view. Avoid peak check-in times to dodge long waits.

The breakfast experience stood out, especially the made-to-order omelets and outstanding French toast, making for a delicious start to each day. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, adding a special touch to our honeymoon. However, service in the restaurant was inconsistent, and there were issues with cold room service food. Despite the wonderful surroundings, these service hiccups impacted our overall experience.

We had an amazing time relaxing on our private balconies with views of the pristine golf course. Playing a round at the 18-hole championship course was a highlight, and we even caught a movie at the nearby theater. The vibes were chill, and it felt very much like a vacation.

However, our check-in was a bit of a hassle. The front desk wasn't ready for us, and we waited longer than expected, which was frustrating after a long drive.

This resort has a beautiful setting and a fantastic pool area, making it a great place for relaxation. However, service was lacking, as staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained at times. Room cleanliness also left something to be desired, impacting overall satisfaction with my visit.

During my stay, I encountered some unexpected inconveniences. The cleanliness of my first two assigned rooms left much to be desired, with dusty floors and unkempt beds. Additionally, I noticed a crow at the pool that snagged some food from my son, suggesting the need for clearer rules regarding wildlife interactions. Lastly, the lack of microwaves in the rooms made reheating leftovers a hassle—something I prefer when staying at a resort.

The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with a variety of high-quality options, including organic juices and freshly baked pastries.
